History
Community After School (C.A.S.) was formed in 2000 by a group of dedicated individuals with experience working with at-risk children through after-school programs, summer camp and educational enrichment coursework. We are an approved School Board of Broward County after care provider and have provided services to over 15,000 students since our first program began. Children's Services Council funding has enabled us to provide much needed after school and summer camp programs to economically disadvantaged children.
Locations:
C.A.S. provides services at Atlantic West Elementary, Coral Park Elementary, Liberty Elementary and Forest Glen Middle School.
Our Mission is to provide the children and families we serve with:
- An inclusive program that is safe and nurturing in a comfortable environment.
- A cultural and enriching program that promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional and social development of each child.
- A program that meets the highest quality of child care standards.
Access to C.A.S. Programs:
We are committed to providing equal access to our aftercare and summer camp programs without regards to race, ability, national origin and gender.
